"Panic, my child is missing" moment today    We were in Kmart and Ashleigh was grumping in the pram so I let her loose. We were in the children's clothes section and she was fine wandering around with me. Then she went round the corner and I was literally 2 secs behind her but she had vanished I practically ran from aisle to aisle to aisle looking and calling her but couldn't find her    Finally she emerged quite far away and was starting to cry herself It was only maybe a minute or slightly longer but OMG it was the LONGEST minute of my life!!

Yikes, I'm scared of the day that happens to us too.. I hope you're over the shock!

I'll always remember what another mother said to me while I was pregnant with Alyssa and that is "you're not a real mother until you have "lost" your child at least once"...hehe..

OMG that feeling is just as awful everytime it happens, doesn't matter how old they get and when you find them you're so relieved and then you tell them off for taking off hehehe while you're hugging the daylights out of them, well I find thats what I do

Oh I hate those moments. We lost Nyah at Warehouse Extra and both DH and I had a panicky moment. Then we heard our names over the loud speaker.

Hugs Kelly, it is such an awful feeling! The worst time I can remember (coz there have been more than one ) with Maya was when we were at a Botany meet up and I thought she was in the kids area at the back of Whitcoulls but she wasn't and I got really panicked coz I couldn't find her. She was 4 then, it really freaked me out!

Haven't lost a gremlin yet, well not so much so that I've been worried about them, unless you count when Sienna went in the creek at Deborahs a few weeks ago ...

Oh how horrible for you!

When I was a child I was in Farmers with my Mum and Poppa. Mum was trying something on and Poppa was looking after me. I decided it would be a good idea to climb into the middle of a clothing rack and hide from Poppa. Scared the living day lights out of him. I got so told off, I thought it was a joke until I saw my Mum crying.

I dread the day this happens to me.

How scary for you. Michaela's bolted before but only ever been out of sight for seconds but we were in farmers in the middle of Wellington CBD a couple of months ago and a woman in the line infront of me grabbed my pram, I was shocked (and ready to deck her) but she thought she was grabbing her pram and she quickly realised it wasn't hers and her child was missing. The poor lady it scared the heck out of DH and I too. She found her after a few minutes but still it would have been awful.

Caitlyn often escapes at Farmers , first time i was freaking out , funny how when your child is missing ,all the people you just thought were nice ordinary people now become paedophiles and kidnappers a?

Now tho i just think ,if i was Caitlyn , where would i go , and head to the toy aisle....or the shoe section :-P (shes her mothers daughter that one )
