... being put in full glasses of coke .

I flicked mine off the couch on Saturday night and it landed in my glass (total fluke). Nigel was here and he took it apart (the best he could for me to put back together) and I dried it out. But no not good enough and it gave up, not bad for 6 years worth of use thou.

So yesterday I rang sky and told them it had given up. Today they sent me an empty envelope with a letter saying here is your new remote.

I rang them back up again and was told that I could so to the Palmy branch and get a new one - wish I had been told yesterday.

But now I have a brand new remote to channel surf

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I bet you wouldn't be able to do it again if you tried.

Not that you would want to.

Yeeck!  What a fluke, landing there!

Ours hid just under the house for a week, right in the road of where a stream of rain was running across (thanks, Ella!).  I'm amazed it survived!

Glad you got one so quick though. It's like losing an arm.
