Ask for a few repeats on the script so that you have some tubes for DH.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Becks' we have been using anti'b cream its not been working so we actually need to get oral anti'b.
Mel its just common school sores we prob got them from the pool's in summer. I know they can be really hard to get rid of, but never knew we would still have them this far down the track.

A capful of janola in the bath water will help rid the bath and your body of the staph infection on the skin called Impertigo. This is very safe and effecive for families with ongoing sores or boils. I hope this helps

Have you been using the canasten/dettol inwash stuff for clothing etc? we found that helped when it attacked our flat a few years ago (dont worry, I feel your pain)
I confess to using janola in the bath - man it helps! Or if you're not game enough for that, good old pinetarsol as well.

I'd be careful with both the kids in the bath with janola in case they get it in their eyes, but it should be fine for Mikey's skin so if you can keep it out of his eyes it's a miracle cure.

Just bathe the area's where it is worst with a flannel dipped in the solution on littlies.
Oh how horrible Deb I worry about Olivia getting impetigo at places like Lollipops, Banana's and Jack N Jills as sickly kiddie hands touch everything!

I feel your frustration. After one of my practicums I came up with this horrible itchy skin, and because I suffer from bad eczema just thought it was that. I finally went to the dr, and I had scabies, I felt ill when he told me. They gave me treatment for it, but didn't mention that all of us needed to be treated. After a week I went back and asked for enough cream for the whole family. Finally got rid of it. But still felt disgusting.

With only a capful or a half of a capful depending on the bath size will be fine for the kids eyes. As long as they are not hanging out under water with their eyes open for long amounts of time it is perfectly safe. This remedy is endorsed my a skin specilist that came to do a presentation at the DHB last yesr.
Just an option for ridding a house where reccurent infection is a problem.
