Topic: Somebody Stop Me!!! Posted: 08 September 2008 at 3:47pm |
Both girls are asleep, the house is atcually pretty clean. Im bored and hungry. I was about to bake some cookies but the only tray they will fit in my oven has gone awol. I really really want theese cookies now.. so badly that I dont care if they are cooked enough.
Now I know its completley ridiculous to eat a whole bowl of cookie dough (I'd halve it and even halve it again ) but please give me a good reason not to, or even better, something to take my mind off it.
...I'm going crazy

That would be awesome....if we had any vegies in the house.
Its grocery day today and DH has had to work and I really dont fancy dragging 2 sick girls up to the shops on my own (with my imaginary liscence and car) so we have no food.
I think I'm just going crazy from being stuck inside my tiny little 3.6 x 8.3m house full of sick people for over a week now
I'll just keep dreaming about those cookies...

Uncooked cookie dough is the best thing.

they would have been cocolate chip...but we had no chocolate chips, so I just added a bit of hot chocolate mix...mmmmm.
I didnt use a recipe in the end because i didnt have to worry if they atcually cooked preperly, I just added a few basic ingredients, butter, sugar, flour etc untill it tasted right

Why don't you cook it in a square dish and then cut it into pieces, like a slice? That way you could even save some for tomorrow and ice it

Argh, thanks Daizy, I have a sore tummy now! I had choc chip dough man it was good but only ate half of it (which was probably about 1/5 of a mixture anyway) and now I feel sick! I'm my own worst enemy...

lol - ahh your welcome (I really am sorry for bringing it up :P)
I only had about 3 cookies worth so I could easily go for more
Might have to make up some more sometime. Ohh that slice ideas sounds good....sounds too yummy not to try! I really need to buy dishes/trays that atcually fit my oven, I can only find 2 roasting dishes, I dont think are going to be much help.
