We bought a lot of our stuff off Trade Me.
My advice would be to buy whilst you still have two incomes no matter how early you think it is... those 9 months fly past! Don't do what I did and spend a weekend on your knees stencilling the nursery at 8 months preggy

I don't think you will be able to resist either. We will ahve some fun over the next few months going shopping before I'm too big to go out shopping.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

oh yeah and my buddy shandi has already decided (she found out about 3 hrs ago) that i must take her shopping and i must have a baby shower. i told her thats fine so long as she organises it hehehe

Also, wait for parents and grandparents...they always want to conrtibute. I don't think I've bought any of the kids big things.
