Does anyone use family daycare? Porse, Barnardos etc?

I'm looking into it but wanted to know from other mums if it's a good thing or not.

I'm on the north shore in Auckland if it makes any difference.

I've heard very good things about Porse. theres a few others like Jemmas, Amandas... I don't know of any other places.

I've very anti Barnardos for my own personal reasons/experience. They could have improved since then, but I'll never use them again.

There is also Home grown kids

I found Porse and HGK to be the most professional and organised, I am investigating this at the moment myself.

I live on the north shore and we use Jemmas and have found home based care works really well for us. Also works out quite economically as we pay $4.80 per hr (we supply nappies,food etc). Totally recommend it.
