There are so many funky, new and fashionable baby items around that when you’re planning for a baby it can seem totally overwhelming! But as any parent knows, whilst fads come and go, there are always those staple baby things, the ones you just couldn’t live without. So, to make life easier for our mums- and dads-, we’ve decided to compile the OHbaby! 100 Best Baby Buys: the ones that make your job as a parent that much easier. But we need your help! Tell us what things YOU couldn’t live without and we’ll add them to our list. OHbaby! writer Katherine reckons the GroBag Egg is high on her list, and writer Emma cites her Phil and Ted’s Sport buggy and plenty of muslin burp cloths as must-haves. Email your picks to emma@ohbaby.co.nz and go in the draw to win a baby hamper filled with some of those baby necessities! And keep an eye out in November when then OHbaby! 100 Best Baby Buys are revealed!

It'd have to be the go-go bag + dreaming for babies CD + large muslin wraps! They've been invaluable and we've used them every day for 9 months!

Funnily enough the thing that Lily can't live without is her ring toy! You know the sort, a whole lot of plastic rings on a big ring! It is her favourite toy of all and a great distraction.

For me, it is muslins I reckon, and the play gym to keep her occupied so I get a shower!

I know that you are wanting something that we have bought, but I would have to say that my daughter has a wonderful time playing with her older brother. He is absolutely wonderful with his little sister, they have fun playing and laughing. It is soooo cute

She also loves going in her exosaucer.
And loads of bibs help keep your clothes clean
