Well before Zaara I was really good. Every room was tidy and clean. All the cupboards were neatly organised and well I was on to it!!

Since Zaara it has all gone crazy at my place.

At the moment this is our schedule:

Morning: DH Prepares our lunch and leaves for work (leaves all the dishes)

I wake up, get ready, get Zaara ready (Including doing her hair) , feed her breakfast, do the dishes, tidy all her toys on the floor, try and tidy around the house and go to work. Put any laundry out (done the night before)

DH comes home (most days early) and picks Zaara from Daycare, comes home and cooks dinner and does all the new dishes. brings in any laundry and put a new lot out (Or I do when I get home).

I come home (6pm most days), feed Zaara, bath her and play with her, read with her, and then bed time. Then I again try and tidy or iron. Or do any paper work needed eg. Writing letters, sending people cards, do Southern cross returns etc (Hubby sucks at that)

DH Vacumes nearly every day. I vacume on the weekends. DH Does the Toilets and Bathroom (but I do them every now and then). DH Cuts the grass and Garage tidy. I cook on the weekends. We also dust taking turns on the weekends.

I have to agree that he does more than I do....but I keep Zaara entertained and occupied!! I think that evens it out. LOL

ha ha, yeah i know our hosue is messy but it's not dirty so that's fine.

And i don't go and pick up after my kids. they darn well do it themselves.   I just go around every once in a while and get the little 1 bit here and 1 bit there and put it away.

Everyone knows we have dishes there usually. and washing on the sofa. but the dishes are well rinsed and stacked, and the washing is clean and mostly folded, just waiting to be put away. the stuff tha tgoes int he hot water cupoboard is always done.. so all the daycare clothes and everything else, but the girls good stuff, is a mission to hang it all up in my unrealisticly high standard, so mike doesn't touch it and it takes a long time for me to hang. lol

and yes. our rom is always the one that gets missed. I make all the beds on my way down the hallway in the mornings, open the curtains and windows as i go, but our room, is the one that gets forgotten in terms of cleaning up, my clean folded clothes are still on the end of our bed, has anyone figured out that ihate hanging stuff up. .. just takes too darn long, We have farrr too many clothes in this house i feel.

as i said to mike, i think we NEED to have washing hanging around.. cos there's no room for it all to go, on the few times ihave tried to do it all and hang and put away.. it just doesn't fit!

haha, this post is fun.. should print it all out in a week or so and sell it - "EXPOSAY - The real housewife's secrets!"

lol
