Is it okay to send flowers to men in hospital? If not - what do I send?

Nothing wrong with flowers, but depending on who it is, i would look at one of the gift basket sites and they might have a hospital gift basket with other stuff in it - like food or magazines or somthing!

Flowers are okay, depends how blokey they are, there are some other cool options though with gift baskets and fruit etc. My DP would hate it if I sent him flowers.

DH wouldn't mind flowers. He would be happy at the thought behind them but would appreciate something else more though, like something to pass time etc.

When my father in law was in hospital we sent a fern basket and they planted the plants in the garden when he got home. It was just a little more 'manly' than flowers - IFYKWIM.
