Topic: Why do I feel so yuck? Posted: 07 April 2008 at 8:46pm |
I went to work today feeling fine, even though I had been woken at 5.30am (preschoolers and daylight savings!!! ). I had fruit & yoghurt for breakfast and crackers, cheese and a coffee for morning tea at work. Not long after having morning tea I started feeling really yuck in my tummy. Not like I was going to throw up but kinda like a diahorrea feeling in the tummy only.
Well despite lunch (salad and canned fish) and drinking water all day, I didn't come right until about dinner time. It seemed I could do nothing to get rid of the queasy feeling.
I've had that queasy feeling before but I can't exactly place it. It seems to be any number of the following options:
-endometriosis
-maybe gluten intolerance?
-I have lowish B12 (205 when normal is 130-860 I think)
-endo+"relations" up to 30 hours prior to feeling queasy... I'm sure that the last this has happened the last 3 times I've been queasy but not the last 3 times we BD.
-doing too much with 35 hours/wk work plus 3 preschoolers
ideas?

Better go and see your md.
My sis has called to say she's being feeling pretty low and tired and ill recently (definitely not preggers as she has beeen focussing solely on her kids since her husband left her 6 years ago) her docs running a whole tonne of test including aneamia, gluten intolerance, diabetes.

Ovulation makes me feel really tired and sick, I get cramps too.
But you do know that there are plenty of pill babies out there

Um, need more slow release food to cope with busy lifestyle and preschoolers. Muesli and toast at breakfast perhaps?

Just a bad day? I get them quite often, seems to be a thing when you've got a few issues 'down there' to have a few off days. If it happens more often, maybe go and get checked for IBS?

Thanks Rackhell, I'm just trialling low gluten at the mo, hence the high fibre.
Yesterday there was no nausea but I had cramps instead. So methinks it might be just another endo thing. Man, I hate endo!! Still learning to cope with it on a daily basis. Next month is my without-pill trial and if I'm still fatigued then I'll get the B12 injections. But if it's just my body trying to juggle all the hormones I've got on, then hopefully it will come right.
*sigh* any endo coping techniques out there?
