Hrmph, we don't have a dishwasher or a dryer..... *pout*

Mine pretty much goes like this: Get up in morning and Leonard goes down for morning sleep at about 830/9am, I have breakfast/internet time. I put a load of washing on and then I wash and dry the dishes from the night before, wipe down the kitchen surfaces. Then hang out the washing and fold the dry washing from the day before. Usually by that time, Leonard is up so the rest of the day is clean/tidy as we go.

Bathroom/toilet, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting etc. (the other stuff) waits until the weekend when DH and I do it together.

I did buy a speedcleaning book and it was inspirational.... Hey, I said 'Inspirational', not 'Motivational' LOL

I make our beds and straighten the bedrooms and unload the dishwasher as soon as we get up while breaky is cooking. I do one biggish job a day -vacuuming/mopping/bathroom & toilet so everything gets done twice a week while Jake watches his morning dvd and put on a load of washing if I need to then we play. He'll have a run around outside while I'm hanging anything out coz we don't have a dryer.
Atm I sleep when he sleeps so I don't do anything then. After naptime I get dinner sorted, loading the dishwasher as I go (any dishes go straight in through the day) then we often walk down to meet DP. Then its dinner-time, bath-time, Jakes in bed by 6.30 and we have the evening to ourselves.

I've taught Jake to play with one basket at a time and put it away when hes done (I'm not his housemaid!) so it stays pretty tidy round here. Its not always organised of course. We hit stages where I can't stay on top of things but generally this is how we run.

I always do the beds in the mornings too and general bedroom tidy ups.

We have a boarder who empties the dishwasher in the morning (or the 'after'-morning) so brekky dishes get left on the bench and magically put away by her later And we just wipe down high chair and table and sometimes hang a load of washing before we head out the door for work and childcare ;-)

In the afternoon we make heaps of mess and I don't do a thing untill the kids are in bed asleep ;-) And then it takes us about an hour to get order in the house again and relax When needed I run the vacumn around in the avo's as well or 'potter' and fold washing etc while the kidlies are playing.

I am always tempted to tidy up in the avo's but it just wont happen! We had a broker over at 7pm the other night and despite my tidying up efforts the house was a shambles lol so embarrassing!

Hehe I'm sooo going to take some advise from this thread!

I have MAJOR ocd and have to put everything away as soon as I can! Constantly putting toys/playmats etc away even though they allll come back out again when Ty gets back up! I've started trying to just sit down and relax and say to myself 'just ignore it' but it's sooo hard. Even the things on the coffee table all have to be in their place, nicely lined up, couch covers and cushions have to be straight etc... hahaha!

I'm going to have to do something about this when Ty starts being mobile... or I'll lose my mind.

My dh has mild (MILD!?) ocd Rosee, which is why he is seeing somebody about it. Makes life a bit hard but at least the house is tidy in the evenings
