Can I use the paints that are in schools (water based paints) on canvas??

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yes you can indeed, this painting I did is just using fas/chromacril acrylic paint

Sweet, I want to colour the canvas one colour and then get the boys to put their hand and foot prints on it.
BTW that painting you signed it the day Josh was born.

Oh yay, I was in a very arty farty mood in the last few weeks of my pregnancy!
That'll look neat becks, I'd like to do something along those lines with Lucas' hand and foot prints but he wont stay still long enough

Oooh Becks we did that, we painted the canvas black and then painted the girls hands and put them on it. We did Paris's one in orange colours and put her hands on it in a way that it ended up looking like a butterfly print. it turned out awesome.

I do have portfolio boards from when I was younger and majored in art @ highschool, but now just have the odd paintings I have done. Once bub came along practically all my spare time and motivation went out the window but im starting to get it back! Will have to post photos when I do more.
One of my artworks sold for $500 in a charity auction to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, how about that for impressive LOL ....and I was only 16
I would like to start selling them again, but I see all the really talented pieces on Trade Me going for ridiculously cheap prices and it puts me off.
