Okay so Rhiannon is now 6mths old and on 2 solids a day...when did you start introducing a 3rd solid.

Ive noticed over the past few days that her 3pm feed is being brought back earlier and earlier and she seems to be getting hungry from about 1.30pm even though her last feed was 11am

any ideas?

Zaar started 3 solids a day when she was 6 months....cereal in the morning and then lunch (and boobie) and dinner (the boobie).....now she also has fruit/cracker snacks in between and boobie (when she feels like it!)

I think she is ready for a 3 meal of solids,
I think though you need to do it at meal times, eg, breakfast time, Lunch time and dinner time (the same time as you so she isnt confused)

Good Luck

Trish

If she has been on 2 meals a day for quite a while and is starting to get hungrier then give her more. It wont be a mistake!

Joshie is on 3 meals a day now. Baby rice in the morning, pureed fruit at lunch time and vege at dinner time. Milk still offered first (boobie or bottle depending on where I am at the time) and a couple of milk only feeds (1 after his big sleep during the day and 1 dream feed at about 10pm). He's loving it!

I remember being so scared to move from one solid feed to two... then I finally made the leap and two weeks later she was on three meals a day. hehe
Moving onto solids was the scariest time for me! Signified such a huge step
