Uh oh... I'm turning into an earthmother. Similar to Nikkis save the world feelings, I am having a major save the earth thing going! I went to the supermarket today and bought a couple of reusable shopping bags, so only got 2 plastic bags instead of about 7, and it made me feel so good It all started with cloth nappies and now here is my list...

cloth nappies and wipes
mama cloth/saving for a mooncup
reusable shopping bags
recycling
walking more to save petrol
making all baby food/buying less processed foods and making from scratch
plans for composting and vege garden
buying natural skincare and cleaning products

Wow, what a geek i am when i see it all written down. But major plus side is it all saves lots of $$

Just wanted to share my do-good feelings and maybe encourage others...!

I'm pretty keen to try growing some vege's but I have no place to put it!

I have reusable shopping bags too but I must admit I'm really bad at remembering to take them!

We have a vege garden but that's about all we do. Considering I work for the Council I'm such a slack ass! lol

I have a vege gardne and love it. I love being able to go out and pick fresh carrots to eat when i'm hungry with dip - naughty I know.

We recycle, so the easist thing to do and everyone can do it.

I reuse plastic shopping bags with the groceries. We shop at Pak'n'Slave so we don't get shopping bags when we shop, saves money there. I think they will put their shopping bags up to 10c when 5c go out on Monday.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
