I am in the process of looking into this for when our child is around 6 months (depending on finances. So with that in mind I thought perhaps any others that have experience with particular places could post their feedback, or recommend places. I am based in Auckland, North Shore, but anyone please post as I am sure it will be helpful to others!

Sarah Beth my friend works at a daycare in Remuera (i think I can't quite remember) if you want the details about that place let me know. I'll PM them to you as she has given me a lot of info about the place and prices etc.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'll ask her tonight if she has any ideas on good places up that way. She is the head teacher in her section so has to go to meetings and stuff with other places so may have some ideas for you.

these are the official education reports of every school/daycare in New Zealand. you can see if they have any major problems. My local kohanga - which we were planning t send the boys to, is so dodgy I found out!~
