Taine amuse/d himself a lot to tell the truth. we put a mirror at his level and he spent AGES "chatting" to that other baby. Right now he's watching Baby Einstein - those are amazing for keeping kids interested - jake still enjoys the animal one.

Reading is a favourite at our place, as is being outside (not even doing much except looking at the world), exersaucer, playmat, tummy time, dancing and singing, talking to the 'other' baby, peekaboo.... general chatting to each other, cuddles..... I'll email you a link to a site with heaps of ideas Hey, cool to talk to you the other morning too!

Check out "Your Child at Play" book (for first 12 months), it's an inch thick and full of ideas that you're asking about.
