I'm having trouble findinga good book to read, I've read almost all of danielle steel(the best one is mirror image) and just read 'broken bones' and 'trust me' by lesley pearce now I need a new addiction!

I have just finished reading a Penny Vincenzi - great family saga stuff (and I love Danielle Steel as well if that helps).

This is not one of a series and you would have to get from library but I found it fantastic
The Eight - Katherine Neville (not sure on spelling of 1st name)
I read this many years ago & it still sticks in my head!

Oooh also I like Bryce Cortney books but the one I remember the most is one that I think (could be wrong) was either a true story or based on true story set in Sydney

If you like chic lit - I recommend Marian Keyes, Jane Green, Kathy Lette, Cathy Kelly.
I'm a fan of anything set in England or Ireland.
Also love Philipa Gregory and Diana Gaboldan.

other authors I really love are Barbara Erskin, Sara Donati, Nora Roberts, Josiphine Cox,and Julie Garward(sp)

anything by Jodi Picoult and Jean M. Auel (the Mammoth Hunter series), and I love Bryce Courtenay all of his books get really intense.

I've read jodi picoult's my sisters gift and loved it but I tried to read perfect match and I just couldn't get into it.
I've just out a bid on April fools by bryce courtney on trade me.
I love books set at least a few hundred years ago and I really enjoy reading books that start with the character being pretty young and growing through the journey of growing up with all the trails and tribulations in between.

I've just read the shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. They are pretty light reading but really funny. They follow her from single girl about town, to getting married, to having her first child.
For books set a few hundred years ago, I quite enjoyed the series by Diana Gabaldon - I think the first one was called Cross-stitch.
