Topic: What does your DH/DP think AF stands for? Posted: 19 August 2008 at 9:03am |
The other day DH asked me "What are you reading on OB?"
I replied "TTC 101 - its a list of acronyms and their meanings."
DH: "What's TTC mean?"
Me "Trying to conceive".
Then I ask DH "What do you think AF stands for?"
DH thinks a bit ......"ummm - After F**k?"
Tee hee hee

Mine knows it stands for Aunt Flow as we have a family friend who is very open and honest about things and when her daughter started getting the hag she was telling everyone AF finally arrived at their house for her. Didn't take DH to work it out.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

LMAO at your DH Kakapo!
Willie wouldn't even know the phrase existed, let alone what it means. As far as he's concerned the only reason he even needs to know if the hag is visiting is if he thinks he should be getting bedroom action.

Hehehe, thats classic! Mine is miles away, so I can't ask him right now but I don't think he'd be too far off your DH's answer, Kakapo.

 I hate the word menstrating.
DH has no idea about AF when I tried to explain some of the terms I was using (DPO, O, TTC etc)
He said we were given a perfectly good english language so USE it! lol I haven't bothered telling him anymore since. Men doh!!
