Ethan has started teething... yep it is early.
I have given him bonjella and if it doesn't help he has pamol but that is only to help if he won't settle to sleep.
My question is: What can I give him to chew on? My finger is all he gets at the moment. The teething rings are all too big - I have tried four different ones now.
Any suggestions? I have heard Apple in a muslin cloth but is this ok for Ethan with him being young??
Hi Linelle!
Olivia started with her teething about the same age as Ethan. I hope that you don't have the luck that I did with 2 bottom front teeth!
What about the little hoops/links that join the toys onto baby gyms? I used a frozen dummy when Olivia was this young it was great! Also used a bit of arnica which helped out a fair bit as well. A frozen hankee? Or maybe an ice cube that is wrapped in glad wrap and then put in a hankee(hankee tied off of course)? The fruit and muslin is a not so bad idea but if you want to keep your kids away from solids till their ready you might want to leave it.
Yay for teething, it really sucks when they get all anti over it!
All the best!
You could try one of those things (I can't remember what it is called) my one says Munckin on it. It's a mesh little bag attached to a rubber ring that you can put ice in it for him to chew on and then when he is ready for solids you put fruit in it.
That little bag thing is a "fresh food feeder", we lost ours one day out at a farm ARRRH. And tommy tippie is out of stock, wont be getting any more till beg. of December, not long now but we have missed it. You can also get them from baby factory with disposable bags but the ring is not so comfortable to chew on. You could also try a soft 1st feeder spoon. Ashlyn started at the same age, fortuneatly Anastasia was a bit older. Good luck
