Topic: Sleeping with eyes open Posted: 16 January 2007 at 5:59pm |
Oh my frigging heck!!!
Just got home from work and put Caitlin down for a nap, went in after a while to check on her (and also to watch her sleeping, she's so cute!) she's laying there with her eyes half open! Dozey drunk kinda stare.
I though she was awake so I spoke to her and got no response, then I got closer to her face - still nada (I'm getting a bit "concerned" by this stage) then she obviously woke up, noticed I was there and opened her eyes full and smiled at me like she always does when she wakes up!
The the hey is that about?!!?!?? Freaky child!

My 6yr old use to sleep with her eyes wide open from about 6weeks till over a year old. People use to talk to her when she was in her pram or infant car seat and I would explain she was asleep. They never believed my until I closed her eyes with my fingers... The plunket nurse told me when they were open and she was asleep to close them so her eyes wouldnt dry out. Her eyes didnt even roll back like baby's eyes do when they are sleeping and closing their eyes. Definitely weird
