Thanks ladies, we had a nice sleep in today.. 8.30 they woke up.. i think they were just glad not to be woken at 6am like they have been for the past 8 days for mum to go to work. I tell you i was glad of the sleep in too!
She tore into her pressies, each one going "open it mum, open it!" as soon as the paper was off.
She has gone to daycare for lunch and a sleep then i am taking a cake there for her to have a party with her daycare friends for afternoon tea, we'll come home after that. Am currently awaiting the 2nd cake to finish cooking so i can cool it and then put the cakes together and ice them.. daycare's one is just a fairy house cake.. tomorrow is her elmo birthday at mc'ds, with an elmo face cake.. just a few of us and her little friends.
and yeah, whoa there are so many 2 yr old birthdays, i think it was Harmony that started it off..the big rush of babies around that time, her birthday was 12 days ago,(hhhm actually i think Abigail was before that) then ayja, andrew, josiah, jacob, briona, and i think Joey and Zaara came along a couple of months later too.. and a few more.. i can't remember but there were a few of us all preggers and whinging together. lol

What she said!
Happy birthday Ayja-baby! Can't believe it has been two whole years, wasn't it just yesterday you were finding out you were pregnant with her? I feel so old!
The cake is amazing! Wanna come make the gremlins one?

lol, not amazing, just a perfectionist.. sometimes wonder if it's my way of trying to make up for the fact i am a working mum and have to be away from them so much.. i don't think i overcompensate, but just try and make special memories so they don't just grow up remembering mummy working all the time...
seriously though, has got to be the quickest cake i have ever done cos i just slapped the icing on and then used lollies and bikies and choccy bars to do the rest.. and stole Paris's little fairy winx club doll.. which of course she noticed instantly and goes "that's MY fairy". lol
currently have last cake baking for elmo cake tomorrow. am sick of cakes, he he. although have now found the ultimate cake mix, is quick, easy and costs $1.80 a pack.. i used 4 packs to get the house cake which fed the whole daycare plus teachers! (home brand butter cake mix, plain white packet, available from woolworths) makes for a very very cheap cake, to which you just need to add an egg and a tiny bit of milk. i sooo recommend them. cheap and yummy. (he he, yes i cheat and do packets cakes.. can't do everything.)
