Ok so he is usually a wonderful sleeper all night , but last night we were pretty well up all night he was crying gave him 2 bottle's that he drunk and still he cried we put him in bed wit hus in the buggy when he finally did doze he was still wimpering and really stiff not all floppy and relaxed liek a true sleeping baby Going to go to doc first thing this morning, but man you ladies that deal with babies that still wake a legend's I am so tired so is hubby(he on holiday) so he is having a sleep in and I will get one later in hte the day. Mikey is sleeping at hte momnet but I can hear him still wimp  er.

Oh, poor bubby. Hope everything is ok. I'm not looking forward to thise nights. apparently I whimper already if I am not sleeping well.

oh poor little mikey  hope he is ok, and you get some rest today, not easy being up all night like that with them not well. take care deb and let us know how it goes at the doctor.

Well we went ot the doctor thank goodness it is nothing serious I was really worred we would end up in hospital. He has a double ear infection again si more anti B poor little guy no wonder why he was so upset all night. Hopefully they kick in quick. so we can all get a good night sleep. Plus we have so much to do thiss week last thing we really needed.

awe  ear infections are so cruel. good to know that he is on the antibiotics now hopefully they'll start working real fast and you'll have a happy little mikey again  and a less tired deb

oh poor mikey..ear infections are nasty - hope he shakes it soon
and yeah sleep deprivation is not nice!!!

Deb, see if he will sleep on his tummy with his knees tucked up under him, it's the best way apparently. Elevating his cot at the head end can also help relieve his ears. Fortunately babies his age tend to sleep these things off once they do settle, hope the days go ok!

He is loads better just got to keep up with the Anti B he has really dirty ear's. Is htewre anything I can do I know I can put any thing too hard in them but I do wonder if they are hard for him to hear.

You can buy baby ear syringes to flush them out with water, but I think it would be very hard to do on a wriggly baby.
I use a warm damp muslin to clean Benjy's ears.

Hugs Deb! Hope wee Mikey has a more settled night.
When Mercedes had a gunky ear a couple of weeks back I used on of the Johnsons baby buds (with the big heads) to clean around the ear canal and where it had leaked out onto her earlobe but didn't put it down into the canal itself (thats why the big ones are better coz they don't fit into the canal so no risk)
