hiya just wondering if anyone can tell me about hives?for the last 4-5 wks brooke has been getting a few little spots on her body.nothing major and only ever a cple on her at a time.(mainly under her left arm)somtimes on tummy or leg.they look like a pimple with a bit of red on it and clear up real fast but then always a new one to replace old one,wierd eh?does that seem like a mild case of hives?she had chicken pox vacine 5wks ago and apparently they can get mild case of spots but wouldnt expect it to drag out like this....they dont seem to bother her at all......
If they were hives she'd also have itching and possibly also swelling. I'd take note of when they come up tho, coz they could be a reaction to something she has eaten or touched, so see if you can find a common link between the times they come up.

oh thanks well now I know deff not hives.....maybe I need to take her to dr and see what he thinks.got new dr.yay.went to him today and he just so nice to talk to.feel like a weight has been lifted of my shoulders.no more getting antibiotics chucked at us everytime!!am going to take brooke to natrapath to try and fix some of the damage the 15 lots of antibiotics has done to her imune system......
omg.. 15 doses of antibiotics! I know people talk about doctors prescribing antibiotics for everything, but I didn't know that it actually happened nowadays.. what a stupid doctor! I am so wary whenever Ella has been prescribed them, and only give them to her if it's absolutely necessary, for example an infection that won't go away after weeks.

I know people talk about doctors prescribing antibiotics for everything, but I didn't know that it actually happened nowadays.. what a stupid doctor! I am so wary whenever Ella has been prescribed them, and only give them to her if it's absolutely necessary, for example an infection that won't go away after weeks.
