I had awful vivid dreams all through my pregnancy, including one very real one about a friend getting killed. Luckily, it didn't happen, but I asked my midwife about it, and she said its very common to have those dreams. I was terrified when having ones about baby, because a close firend had a stillborn baby when I was 4 1/2 months pregnant, so that made me xtra paranoid. Luckily, we had the same midwife, so I saw her fortnightly from about 20 weeks and every second day for the last month, she is amazing, I actually cried on my last visit with her!

I had nightmares during my 3rd trimester with Josiah as well. I would wake Nathaniel up for a cuddle, then in the morning, he wouldn't remember! Never impressed me very much.

my partner thinks im being to "anal" about everything. Im being cautious, maybe over cautious but its better safe than sorry. Just with food and stuff, Alot has changed in the 7 years since his youngest was born, bacteria rah rah rah! lol, im a wierdo!
I thought that being pregnant would just be constantly beautiful, which it sometimes is (lol) i didnt take into account the ammount of worrying i would be doing. theres a lil person inside of me! everything i do effects it, thats alot of pressure! lol considering my rockstar lifestyle before finding out i was pregnant lol.

I got grief from everyone about being over cautious as well, especailly since I was pregnant over the festive season and I was very anal about meat being cooked properly. It's your baby and your body, so tell them all to take a flying leap!!!
I was still leading my rock and roll lifestyle while (unbeknown to me) I was pregnant, so I had that extra worry on top of the other worries! I actually asked to see a paediatrician before I left the hospital to check Jake out JUST IN CASE!!! lol! I didn't find out I was preggers untill 10 1/2 weeks, and had had 2 very very big months in that 10 weeks!, so i was terrified!!

I was 20 weeks with Kiya before I found out I was pregnant. In that time, I had lots and lots of fun! I also wrote off a car, and had minor surgery!
Today she is a healthy, normal little girl.

I had 16 weeks in Dunedin leading the most dodgy of student lifestyles - living in a scummy flat, eating reeeeally crap food, working in a bar (so drinking a LOT) and may have also had a night out on some chemical substances. Hrmmmm... found out at 16 weeks and I was terrified!
Didn't help that the guy I thought was Hannah's father was continually guilt tripping me about it and when I went for an appointment with the Doctor he barged in at the end and said really accusingly "You know she's been drinking don't you???"
Anyway... Hannah is fine and dandy!!!

I've also been having horrible dreams I had one where my sister was in an accident and she was lying on the ground in a supermarket dying! it seemed so real and scary I couldn't relax until I rang her early the next morning she's a student in CHCH so her only problem was me waking her up after a big night out!
I got really worried when I found out I was pregnant just because the same night bubs was concieved I had been out for my sisters 21st and had a few drinks. After reading the other posts above I feel silly for worrying!
I have meet one of the possible midwives that might take over while mine is away but I didn't really like her, I'm sure she's lovely I just didn't get a good vibe. My midwife is reasonably young so I feel comfortable talking to her as more of a friend about my worries rather than the other lady who is probably in her late 50's.
