Since it's coming into birthday party season, I just thought I'd pass on advice that I've been given about cheerios - if you chop them lengthways they are less of a choking hazard (that and take the plastic coating off for the littlies). If they are chopped the other way, they are the same size as an airway - and you can still drench them in tomato sauce, any way that they are chopped

Still have problems with the cheerios thing, wondered why you were serving breakfast cereals with tomato sauce!!!

lol claire. I find it confusign when people say cheerios for breakfast lol
we to scared to give sausages or cheerios/ saveloys to haleigh. we have a huge fear of choking the slightest cough while shes eating and we leap so fast over to her
but thats a great idea.

miss two pulls all the red coating off before she eats it. i never enven thought about cutting them in half. thanks so much for that!!!

Speaking of choking....
Our little Nugs is called "Nugs" because he used to down chicken nuggets in one mouthful!!! No delicate biting them in half for our boy with "table manners".... So watch out for those as well!!!!
