Chain letters

I don't like them either. Got the sticker one the other day, thought it was ridiculous because DD wasn't even one at the time - she has no idea about mail and I honestly didn't want a whole bunch of stickers anyway...dunno, maybe I'm just mean! Threw it away but told the person who gave it to me that I wasn't doing it.

I had to think about why I don't like them...I think because they put such an obligation on you to send something/buy something/do something, and there is often the guilt sentence at the end to 'encourage' you to do it. Plus, I really can't bring myself to pass them on, to me it seems like you're asking your friends for something (ie: buy my kids stickers!). Generally, I'd rather spend my time and money doing random nice things for people I know need it...if that makes sense?
