Topic: Dream I need the meaning off... Posted: 10 February 2009 at 9:04pm |
Im posting this here as I *think* not as many ppl know me here as another site :)
I had a really weird but real feeling dream last night.. bear with me...
Somehow it started that my hubby had left us(dont know why) but he wasent around.. My best friend was keeping me company and was staying over and just sleeping in my bed with me, (just sleeping), I told her that it was guys that I liked ( as in im not into girls, btw my bestie isnt gay either), Then next i know my ex bf (from about 8/9yrs ago) was in my bed and I was trying to kiss him but he wudnt let me as he knew I was married, and then dh woke me up with a hug..
Now all day all i have thought about is my ex.. I havent seen him for about 8yrs, he went to prision for a few things back when I was 15/16yrs, he was 17/18. I thought he was the right one for me but knew his crimal past wudnt help my chosen career.
I have recently found out hes married now and not living far from me.... I get a feeling all over like im nervous or something...
I Love my dh so much but cant help but think this way..
any ideas what it means wud be great :)
TIA :)

Darn dreams!! They mess us around a bit!
Possibly I reckon you have unresolved feelings for your ex, and having recently heard about him he's been in your thoughts a bit more that usual which could account for the dream...
Don't feel bad! I mean, hell, we can't control what we dream about LOL!
It was JUST a dream... Here's hoping the next one you have involves your DH and some fabulous deserted tropical island!!!

And if not your DH just check out the 'pics of our husbands' in the general thread for some 'inspiration'
Seriously though I agree with Clare - your ex is just on your mind more because he's moved back in your vicinity and there's some unresolved stuff.

Meh - I dream about my ex all the time.... well, not all the time but every few months or so and then usually it leaves me thinking that we've got 'unfinished business' etc. but give me a day or so and I'm over it. I think dreams just tend to do that to you.

Agree with MrsH! Also, a dream can be quite exciting, because it's different from your day to day life, and leave you feeling like you are missing out on something.... but generally the grass isn't greener of course.
I have random dreams about people (recently I tried to kiss an old boss!!), and it plays on your mind for a couple of days then you just forget about it.

sounds to me like unresolved issues - if you haven't seen your ex for a while maybe you need to arrange to have a coffee with him or something. it's highly likely you'll spend five minutes with him and wonder what you ever saw in him and go home with a clear head! sometimes you just need closure...

I think your mind is just playing tricks on you. I have had a couple of minor dreams like that too but they bugged me because staying with my DH for the long-run is very high on my priority list! I just talked it over with my DH and we both agreed it was just silly and that helped me bring closure to it - instead of bugging through it all by myself.
As for the snakes.... snake phobia??? I wouldn't have a clue!
