Me too. The pamol thing, I'd syringe it at the very back of the throat, so she really has no option but to swallow.

how did you get on last night kandice?
i'm glad you took her to the hospital, 24hrs are always grumpy and useless!!

i find that if i get to the really worried point, then it's best to not second guess myself and go to the dr or hospital

poor wee kylah, that's a long time for a wee one to be miserable.....and for mum!

Hi all,

We got back from the hospital around 2am, Kylah was soooo exhausted she screamed untill 4am!
Been a long night, and to make it worse iv just woken up with whateva it is she has and it hurts!

When we got there she had a temp of 38 and her oxygen levels were low. Didnt stop them making us wait 2 hours to be seen by an actual doctor!!
But she was really nice, and said she doesnt want to send us home untill her temp was down and her oxygen levels up. Because she had rib shadow as well..

After a chest xray to check for pneumonia we were told we could go home but to bring her back if it gets worse, worst part was having to pin her down and force pamol into her!! Felt so mean!

So shes still asleep now i think we are going to have a busy couple of nights getting her used to proper sleeping times, after being at afterhours a couple days ago till some ungodly hour shes taken to sleeping late in the day..
Thanks so much for your advice i feel so much better that we took her there!

I hope Kylah is on the mend today, glad you took her to the hosp. I always go with my gut and luckily my doc will laugh at me, if it's nothing, but he always says to bring her in if I'm concerned at all. I my doc!

We also have problems getting Pamol into Mikayla, the hospital gave us suppositories, but luckily we've not had to use them yet, funnily enough she started taking it liquid better when we got them

That is so good you feel happy that you took her there.

Sounds like they did a thorough job to make sure she would be ok.

Sorry to hear you feel sick now. Hope you both make a speedy recovery.
