It's a new initiative by my company.

For the past 3 years we've donated over $400,000 to NZ charities. Over the past wee while we've been developing an enhanced programme and today we launched Sovereign Sunshine aimed at building a brighter future for NZ kids.

You can get involved too by voting where our money goes each month - you don't need to be a Sovereign staff member or customer.

Sovereign Sunshine has a new website which allows visitors to vote online each month for which of the six children’s charities shortlisted receives our monthly support of up to $15,000. Visitors can also volunteer their time to a charity, spread the word about Sovereign Sunshine, or donate directly to a charity.

I think this is a really cool new initiative and I'm proud to be involved.
