I have a question:

About 4 - 5 weeks ago i was at mums and changing ellas bed, i took the safety sleep off and the large velcro part stuck to the floor except i didnt notice it and i went to kick it out the door. I really really really hurt my big toe bad it was so sore and for the next week it throbbed at night, it doesnt look purple never did and it didnt really swell up but ever since i cant bear to much weight on it and if i try to bend it up i cant go far it hurts and if i did what i did before which was try and move a box my pushing it with my foot i just about collapsed over it hurt soooo bad.

Any ideas what it may have or could be?

Usually if it hurts to weight bear we recommend a trip to the GP and you may need an xray to rule out fracture. Especially as its been 4-5 weeks. If it was just a sprain or something it should have got better by now.

You may have bruised the ligaments in your foot which can take a while to return to normal. But you're best bet is to see your GP. ACC will still cover it, it hasn't been that long. My partner just claimed with ACC for his RSI which has been developing over a couple of years lolz.
