No but DH does and seeing as its his mother, I'm not going to stop him.
He does if for anyone who comes to stay though, our family and friends have this illusion we live in a clean and tidy house.

I used to clean, vacuum, have the dishes done for either MIL or my own m. The crazy thing is that their homes are both quite cluttered on any given day! Anyway, 4 kids on I am finally relaxing about it (especially now that DH is home full-time and I'm working - it now reflects on him not me) although I still prefer the lounge, couches and lounge floor clean and tidy for any visitors.

Kylie there is something totally wrong with your DH!! Once my laughing subsided I just had to ask my DH what he thinks about my handbag. It appears he falls into the "curious but almost-frightened of the contents" category. Well, he wouldn't word it quite like that...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. DH always tells me not to stress as his Mum doesn't care but hey it's funny really cos when we were living in the same town they saw our house all the time without the over cleaning so don't know why I worry so much
