she was playing on the big playground thingy majig and fell off the steps(mayb 1-2 mtrs high if that) and landed wierd.daycare said to get it checked but werent worried that it didnt seem broken.nath took her to a&e and lo and behold shes broken her arm but the end of the bone by her elbow.she had surgery on thur night(they almost bumped her till fridy as they had emergancy c-sect and they were flat tack),she has 2 wires inserted toi refuse?? the broken bones which get removed nxt week n will hav a cast for 4 weeks.shes unsettled at nite which is taking its toll on poor me cos i gotta work.
Poor wee thing! I bet though, the next time you take her to that place, she'll be back on the same thing! Kids are so resilient lukily. us poor mums aren't so much. Have a whiskey Becs!
Hugs Becs and Harmony! Hope the pain settles quickly for her and that she gets a funky colored cast!
Maya was in plaster for two weeks after her foot surgery, it was a giant PITA coz it meant I had to carry her everywhere.

lol Em,i was saying to nath that its good its her arm cos she can still walk round lol(not tht she does as shes into mummy cuddles and now my arms r suffering)Her slab cast(covers her outter arm) gets removed at follow-up and she gets to chose her new cast which will be a full arm cast.shes sleeping good tonight and hope she has better noght tonight as i am shattered.I have 8 1/2 hrs of work on monday and i need sleep lol (says she who is in here pmsl).I cant remeber if shes in fibreglass cast for 4 weeks or if it is 4 wks in total incl the slab cast.
Poor miss H , think she might be the first one in our little group to do this out of the little ones, apart from Jens boys all doing it last christmas imagine having 3 in casts at the same time well in your case two!! hehe
