My mum swore by the "I Dressed Myself Today" badge... she'd let my bro wear it with pride when he'd chosen his own clothes (and then people knew she hadn't purposefully dressed her child in fluro yellow from head to toe!). I plan on getting a "Daddy Dressed Me Today" badge for Ella though - because there's nothing of hers that man won't tuck in to her trousers.
Ella 'chose' her shoes today... she quickly went over and grabbed a pink and blue one. I'd have let her wear them if they'd been for different feet.

I think it's a great idea and lets their little personalities shine through
Love the idea of the badge! I'm gonna get one that says "Nanny dressed me". I'd like to think I have reasonably good taste in clothes and extend that to Caitlin. So she has, in my opinion, very nice clothes. My Mum manages to put the most hideous combinations together and even put her Baby Legs OVER THE TOP of her jeans, pulled all the way up!!!

LOL!
My Mum and my FIL are absolutely chronic for pulling our kids pants up to their armpits! (with clothes tucked in of course!)
Their excuse is 'I didn't want his/her kidneys to get cold' but surely that doesn't fly in the middle of summer or when they have a woolen singlet and onesie on?

The other day we were in a hurry so wanted to avoid the clothing fight. Hannah went to the airport wearing her purple fairy dress, navy blue stockings (with no elastic in waist, she spent the whole time hiking them up), red band gumboots, and her giant puffy jacket. She looked "interesting" to say the least.
