Yeah the links aren't allowed - there's a "message from Admin' at the top of most of the forums saying so.

i thought it was just in your sig that the links arent allowed, sure i saw a note from admin re removing them from signatures...

Yeah most people had put them there but I'm pretty sure they don't like you linking to competitor's websites as a general rule
