good, learning lots, have done some nasogastric tubes, some heel pricks and lots of other things too, holding bathing feeding etc, keeps you on the go, especially if you get out of handover to find that you have 3 babys all due for feeds at the same time,.. and in about 15 mins. argh lol but i love it.

I think the biggest thing for me at the mo is learning to help the mums to breastfeed.. I mean, I have done it myself - but teaching others to and helping them to.. is very different.

LOL I'm embarrassed too - way to confirm I have no life!
Janine - work sounds interesting! I'm sure I will get to experience it all from the other side in a week or two! One of the Mum's at Maya's ballet is a night nurse in the NICU here and she said every set of twins they've had in for the last couple of weeks she's been checking to see if they're mine lol!

Janine, that makes me feel safe knowing that I will kinda know one of the nurses if anything happens and we have to be there. When my friend had her baby in there 2 years ago now it was really hard to talk to the nurses about what was happening as they were always so busy.
Emma, good on you for the 4000 now aim for 5000 beofre the twins come that would be a mission!!!
