Well, after all intentions of an early night, here i am, 12.30 in the morning, having changed miss paris's bed twice now, given her a bath once. Have no idea what has caused her to throw up, all i know is she is very good having missed her princess duvet covet both times, the second time she even managed to direct it onto the towels (we have now spread over every inch of her bed) over her pillow, and did not get any on herself, her clothes or her bunny (lucky we have 3 of those anyway). Am so glad that we have 5 pillows on her bed (4 get removed when she sleeps, they are just for pretty, lol)

fingers crossed that she is alright now.
Geez, just when i thought we were getting on top of the washing too.

Well she perked up a little after having a sleep this morning and this afternoon, but then went down hill really quick again late afternoon - had just had 5mls of the double strength Pamol about 2 and a half hours before so it should have still been working but she got quite hot, and went white, and started shaking saying she was cold, then decided to really scare me by lying on the floor and squinting her eyes and gritting her teeth clutchingher head, saying it was really sore andher eyes were sore. I was thinking ooooooo kkkkkkkk, better judgement saying "it's not Menningitis, it's not, she's ok" lol alram bells going "what if it is , what if it is?" off to the docs we go, nope half way to the docs she announces her head is a bit better, but she still looked like death. We get in there to find that she has a raging case of tonsilitis (which she has never had before and hopefully never again). so she managed to get a tiny amount of dinner and her meds into her before she was out to it again. poor girl - i ahve never seen her so wiped out, usually even when she's really sick she doesn't sleep all day and is quite perky, and yesterday she had been totally fine - a really good mood happy chirpy girl. sucks that this came on so suddenly and has knocked her for a six. - am thinking she will prob be out of commision for a couple of days at least.

Oh I'm so sorry Janine, poor wee thing ::::Big hugs:::::

I've been there before on the consequtive vomiting thing.. Ellla had a terrible bug that lasted for 2 months, random vomiting during the night, she'd be fine for a few days then all of a sudden sick again..

maybe she already had a cold or something and it hit her harder than usual. Hope she gets better soon!

I used to get tonsilitis really bad and had mine out at about 5. It sucks that they don't take them out so easily any more!!! I remember all my friends getting it and being so glad that I didn't have any tonsils anymore!

I think I must have been about 7 when I had mine out, not sure. I can remember the hospital vaguely, lots of ice cream, then getting a card from all my classmates at school

I had to wait till I was 16 to get mine taken out and my parents went private to get it done as they wouldn't do it at the public hospital. Palmy hospital is being very good at the moment with kids, they are taking tonsils out left right and centre as well as putting grommets in and do teeth ops under a general.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I was a chubby baby with rolls on my rolls on my rolls on my thighs ... then I got tonsilitus when I was about 3 and had it on and off until I got my tonsils taken out when I was 6. I lost all the baby weight during that 3 year period as I didn't eat much... now, people don't believe me when I say I was a big baby!

Poor Paris (and poor Mum and Dad!)). Maya had tonsilitis a few months ago and she had it bad too - her temp was around 39 and wouldn't come down for 4 days. So hopefully what Paris has is just the same nasty bug and not a sign that her immune system is affected by her heart condition.

Meanwhile i feel you on the washing - Maya has a cough atm - cough, cough, spew Have almost trained her to get to the toilet in time but sometimes she doesn't wake up, so we've had our share of the dirty washing this week...

LMAO this morning tho, we were both throwing up together. What a lovely way to bond
