Topic: Clothes for breastfeeding Posted: 23 November 2006 at 3:44pm |
I am looking for a vest style top for summer (a singlet top but without shoestring straps) that has some sort of discreet flap thingy to breast feed under. Does anyone know where I can get one? Online would be best, or at a shop in either Tauranga or maybe Auckland- preferably east or south .
Has anyone used one? Good points or bad? Any info welcome! Thanks

Farmers has them - sorry I can't remember the brand name, but there's 3 styles of tops in the range - long sleeves, no sleeves, and singlets. Haven't tried them so I can't comment on how well they work or not.

I hate my breastfeeding singlet from farmers. It just doesn't work right for fitting my boob through the gap and looks funny on.

I have one of the breastfeeding tops from Farmers. I am wearing it now as it is a great top to wear and it has the bra support built in it. I am getting another one from my mum for xmas. You would need to try it on to make sure it fits you as they are in clothing size not boob size.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yes I have three tops from discreet and find them brilliant!
As a large busted person they are exactly what they say they are! Discreet.
There is a few others around NZ but I can't remember then now.
I live an hour away from shops so online shopping is brilliant for me! I often don't get to town for 4-6 weeks!
Trying searching google for breastfeeding tops or feeding tops!
I think 12 animals has them too.
