argh it's so scary they just remind you in a second don't they - even just the little stuff.

To add to the events of the last little while ayja got to my deodorant spray the other night, I heard a cry when she was supposed to be asleep, went in to see she had sprayed the deodorant on her eye, picked up and went to bathroom and gave eye a good flush out - she had obviously been playing with it a few mins before spraying her eye as our bedspread had large wet patches, it was concentrated in her hair (her hair was wet from it) and our room stunk of the stuff. I ended up bathing her, washing her hair 3 times, this was at 10.30 at night. I had to then jump through the shower as when i'd picked her up i had got a big patch of it on my arm and it started making me feel sooo sick - am glad i bathed her cos that amount would have probably sunk in to her skin without a darn good wash, it was so concentrated! Her hair however, still smells of perfume despite another few washings.

argh, 2 yr olds!

Little ratbags huh?!
Benjy got hold of an empty hair peroxide bottle that I'd washed out and thought I'd buried well in the bin.
Despite the fact that I'd thought it was empty he still managed to get a fair amount of it over himself, his clothes and very, very scarily in his mouth. All in the time it had taken me to go upstairs and put some clothes into a drawer!
He absolutely reeked of it.
I panicked and rang poison control in tears and I was so so relieved to hear that the brand he'd taken (Garnier) is not generally poisonous when its mixed together and all he needed was some milk to settle his stomach.
He was a really lovely guy I talked to too, very calming and friendly.
We were so lucky, I'm still kicking myself for not throwing the stupid thing in the outside rubbish.

Glad to hear James is ok Lu!

Scary Lu! Little monkey James! Glad to hear he is OK! I don't have any similar stories to share coz Maya wasn't really a tutu sort of kid, but these gremlins are another story so give them time and I'm sure they'll be into anything that's not nailed down!
