LOL wuzzles for some reasom reminded me of the gummy bears . . bouncing here and there and everywhere,

hmmmm well my childhood all in all was pretty cool.

although being an only child did have alot of disadvantages , like people automatically thinking your a spoilt brat & when i was a teenager all my mates with older siblings were alowd to do & got away with heaps more than i did, i guess because their parents had already been thru it all with the older 1

hmmmmmm well we lived on a really cool street, never moved my whole life, there was farm infront & behind our house so me & the other neighbourhood kids would go "exploring" and try and catch rabbits, find bones & build huts etc.

dad was (is) a fireman & used to go hunting heaps so i used to help him when he caught a deer & have been able to skin & cut up a deer better than a butcher since i was about 4 we even had a pet deer in the garden (which was about an acre) it was just a little fawn and dad found it with an injured leg and its mother had left it so he bought it home, his name was red and when he got to big for the garden dad gave him to Rainbow & fairy springs wild life centre where he lived untill he died about 6yrs ago

my kindy teacher was a punk chick & used to have multi coloured hair

when i was 4 1/2 my mum was diagnosed with cancer, she spent 19mths in waikato hospital, before she was allowd to come home where she was on bed rest for a year

every xmas we had a xmas party at the firestation & there was always a dress up theme & santa would arrive in the fire truck

we would go to the beach for 4weeks on boxing day every year

during school holidays i went to a holiday program with the kids next door, it was REALLY awsome, we did all kinds of cool stuff that theese days they probably wouldnt be alowed to do due to osh regulations LOL

when i was 11 we went to sydney for 9 days and i hated it. was my first trip overseas

in form 1 & 2 i got bullied really bad & hated school soooooo much

form 4 i got sent to boarding school but got expelled so got to come back home LOL my dad was so stoked as it was mums idea to send me there.

every school holidays id spend riding horses at my mates nannas farm, till they sold it & i got my own horse which i had to sell when i went to boarding school,

then i discovered boys , partys & cars
and had a awsome time the rest of my school years

although
since i turned 16 i have been to 26 funerals and only 1 of those has been a family member, all the others were friends and most were accidents, apart from 3

OK a few from me:

  • McDonald's was a big thing for us as we lived in Feilding and back then there was only 1 McDonald's In Palmy and that was our treat on a Friday having it at the Espanade in the summer months and getting to play late there.
  • Cobb and Co birthday parties as well here too - now it is scary as when I go out to the pub that is my pub of choice (not the restuarant but the bar side of it).
  • Going out to my aunty and uncle's place on the farm in the holidays - that was fun being with my older cousins
  • Mum and dad going overseas every year (for dad's work) and waiting for them the day they arrived home for the presents
  • Playing on the road with the rest of the neighbourhood kids. We had so much fun doing that - we mostly played Jackpot (with the tennis racket and ball) and some of the fun was getting the tennis ball out of the drain when it went down there
  • Going to high school on the bus had some fun memories we shared a bus with boys high going over to Palmy and we did some interesting thing - condoms over the head, the gay bus driver hitting on the older boys, the coffee man on the bus coming home one day (he stunk of coffee and was high on something), taking other people seats (when we always sat in the same places everyday day in day out) making fun of relationships (being 13 and all )

Yeah that can be enough

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
