Mya is an incredibly social wee thing and has loved having everyone vist over ther xmas/new year break and become very used to having constant playmates but now its back to just the two of us shes demanding all this attention and play time from me where as before she was quite happy to play by herself for short periods but now screams when her vision of me is blocked. Is anyone else having or had the same problem? Any suggestions on how to encourage Mya to play by herself again?

Yay, welcome to the clingy stage!
I normally go sit down for a couple of minutes with her and get her engrossed with her favourite toy (Olivia is into balls at the moment) and then take off when she is unaware that I am around anymore. (about 5 mins) Although I don't normally go away for very long, just long enough to throw some clothes in the wash or do dishes.

Congratulations and welcome Krystiana!

Shes doing much better now. Is once again happy to be left playing for awhile, only one bad night, but that was after we left her at mums for an hour one evening. new frustration for us tho is that shes just learnt to pull herself up so is now trying to climb everything and when she cant she expects me to be right there to help move objects till she can pull herself up.But must go Mya is calling out for a feed.
