Topic: Schools Back .... Posted: 07 February 2007 at 9:45am |
I just sent my older two off to school today...
One off to High School for the first time........
and another off to year 5 (standard 3 for us oldies )
And I am a little lost with out them here. School holidays seemed so long and I couldn't wait for them to go back cause they started getting on each others nerves - inturn getting on mine but now I miss them - sukky mumma huh!!!

Great pics Ann and I know what you mean. Christopher started year 6 today and it is so quiet here without him now but the last couple of days have been hard work with him. I think towards the end of the hols, they start getting a bit restless and need the stimulation of school.

Amen to that. I told the kids I would do a little dance in their honor after I had dropped them off and now the house seems way, way too quiet. No pleasing some people is there. Yay for 11-45 when I can pick Abby up from Creche. I have one starting year one and another starting year 5, the big senior this year. Where does the time go!!

LOL I said to Josh that I have to have my 'mummy moment' I also took a photo of him and his friend when i dropped him off at their meeting point LOL
I must admit I didn't do alot today though with the house to me and Rhyley. I went to a parent centre course about baby developement - window of opportunity and stuff like that. was really good am going back to do a baby massage course next week. Rhyley slept thru most of it after I fed him. Got to catch up with people from antenatal course as well...
Oh well big day for Josh as now it will be the whole school.

I just sent my eldest off for her first day at Intermediate yesterday and my second is in year 5. They grow up far too fast don't they. And yes we did the photo thing as well but I have no idea how to put them on here.
It's so nice to see another mum out there with a big age gap my next one is due on the 9th March so the girls are pretty excited. I'm just ready to get it out!!!

Lesieli couldnt wait to get to school as she is a senior now in year 7 while Mercedes year 2 wasnt very keen to get back to school as she isnt a morning person at all and hates to be dragged out of bed.

Brooke Loves school and can't wait to get there. Josh seems to be having fun and meeting new friends so he isn't bothered about going either. I have a cousin who hated school and would be a mission to take every day for all of his schooling - he is now in his last year and still hates it and doesn't go. I'd hate that i remember my aunty dragging him along the road to school. There was no reason for it - not bullied etc.. he was just spoilt and got his own way too much.
