Ooooh this time last week we were in the opposite position, waiting for the vendors to come up with a sensible counter offer. They came down to us in the end, but they wanted waaay too much.
Good luck, hope they come back to you
BTW we should go unconditional today if the builders report goes well

Good luck for that!
They have come back to us with an offer that is sooo devastating but they have cash, and it seems that everyone is doing the same thing at the moment.
The thing is if we don't accept this offer we won't be able to get the house of our dreams, the one that we have had our eye on for ages now.

Yeah, i'm glad we are buying, not selling at the moment. we were able to say take it or leave it.
But we did drop our price when we sold in the UK by 15000pounds, the market in the UK was about where we are now in October, so it was definitely worth it to move on.
Hope you manage to make a good deal

is your asking price realistic?
its so hard aye, we were planning on selling this house we are in now but know with the prices dropping and the market slowing down we wouldnt get what we want so might as well stick it out there.

do you think they would go up a little lisha? maybe you could do another offer to them of a few K more and see what happens?
then, if you will have enough to buy your dream house, maybe that's all that counts?
good luck hun!
