Topic: Weight loss goals Posted: 13 January 2008 at 12:33pm |
I thought I might start a new post for this and we could list our long and short term goals!
Goal 1: another 1kg to get to pre pregnancy weight. I was there already, but stopped breast feeding but eating like I was ACHIEVED!!!
Goal 2: Another 5kg by end of Feb when some friends are coming home from UK for a visit
Goal 3: 15kg by November for a friends wedding
Goal 4: Total loss of 30kg and then reevaluate. 30kg will get me to my personal goal weight but not the WW goal weight they have in their books.
What are everyone elses?

Goal 2: Under 75kg by end of feb
Goal 3: Under 70kg - 70kg has always been what I can't get under and I really wanna do it this time.
I'm not going to get to my WW goal weight, I think its too small.

Goal 1: To get to 10kgs and 10% of my beginning body weight. Goal 2: To be under 90kgs by 16th of Feb Goal 3: Just take it 5kgs at a time till I get to my goal weight of 75kg by the end of the year (well November). Goal 4: Maintain it and never ever get this big again (only if I am pregnant but not this big).

OH I'm so ready for this. BIL took a photo at the pools the other day and is great motivation to finally started.
Goal 1: to lose 1kg a week for the next couple of months.
Goal 2: to get to below 70kg for a wedding on March 29th
Goal 3: to get back to 63-64kg which is the top end of my WW goal weight and fit all my old clothes.
I weighed myself last Monday and was 77kg so I will post tomorrow and see if I have lost anything.
I'm going to do a post in recipes asking for easy low fat family friendly meals.

Goal 1: To get down 5kg by mid Feb.
Goal 2: Get down another 10kg to 80kg by my birthday (May 31)
Goal 3: Try to lose another 5kg, maintain it and be happy there by Christmas
This all starts tomorrow (was starting tomorrow anyway but saw this post and thought I would join in!). Are we posting weekly on weight loss?

This thread has actually made me sit down and think of my goals and a time frame. I joined WW online two weeks ago with a general goal of loose weight. I guess my more specific goals are:
Goal 1: Drop 5Kgs by mid Feb (6 Weeks)
Goal 2: Get down to WW 10% goal by end of March then reassess.
Goal 3: Up my exercise programme
Good luck to everyone

this is great. You are all making me feel "real" about my weight. I would dearly love to get under 80kgs and would happily sit around 75 (I know that 68 is probably more "ideal" but I am being real). And I thought I was the bggest person around. Thanks for letting me know we are all about the same.
Thing is whats the point if I plan to get pregnant again?

Hi nzpiper, i plan on gettng preg again in the next year or so, i want to lose this baby weight first so i don't add to it and then have even more to lose at the end. If you plan to get pregnant soon then i would just concentrate on healthy eating and exercising rather than dramatic weight loss.

nzpiper, DH wants us to try for another in a couple of months.. my deal with him is that we will consider trying once I'm under 75kg.. reason I made this deal is I don't wanna get pregnant again and add to this additional weight. I don't wanna get bigger and bigger ya know? I figure if I shift some weight now and making DH keep me under control when it comes to ice cream then hopefully I won't gain as much as I did with Daniel

Get down to 75kg by Charly's birthday... (6.7kg)
Get down to and maintain 70kg (which is about 4 kg bigger than WW biggest ideal weight, but more comfortable and esy for me to maintain)
My starting weight when I started WW back on 04 just before getting pg with Jake was 98kg
I got down to about 85 kg after having him, but when I went back to work (he was 6 mo. Dec 05), the weight crept back on and I was about 93 kg when I had Charly.(feb 07)
Got down to about 75 kg by about august last year, but its been steadily creeping back up and I want it to stop right now.
So.
Current 81.7 kg
Mid/end Feb 75kg
Goal 70kg

I got really sick last Christmas and after 2 days vomiting and a week of no eating I lost all my baby weight then miracle of all miracles I lost more late last year (not sure why, maybe running around after an active almost two has helped) and I can now fit my wedding dress from over 5 years ago - yes, I did try it on, sad I know.
So I'm happy with my weight but my goals are
1) Not put any weight on
2) Do some weight training to tone up my muscles esp stomach so I don't have the loose skin folds over my jeans and tight pants and my triceps so I can look good in sleeveless tops again.
Oh and I'd love to find a magic cure for my cellulite and stretch marks - so not attractive!

I think I need to join you guys here too. I was 85kg when I got pregnant and am now 90kg - I am 6ft and want to be more like 75kg...
I have a bargain with myself that if I walk/run 4 mornings this week coming then I can buy myself an ipod - which will hopefully motivate me even more, as only time I will really be able to use it is when walking/running by myself...
