i am.

in an hour or so iam going with my little sister to her scan.. the 3 such scan in a month.   she is now 29 weeks preg, 20 wk scan showed maybe baby had same heart probs as bailey, second scan a week ago they couldn't comfirm but weren't sure if it actually did, although they found baby to only be around 750 gms.. (for this age should at least be 1000gms or more) they said they would give her another scan in 2 months... yet they made her another appointment for today.. so obviously changed their mind or decided things were more dire than they thought originally.

So i am going for moral support, and to be nosey and see what is going on cos mum and my sister have no idea!

argh.. so much for not being involved.

Good luck for that scan Janine. I know you said you wouldn't get involved but sometimes its just too hard not to.

Aw Janine, you're such a good person!  Good on you.  Have you got something planned to let off some steam afterwards if need be?

Good on ya Janine, am sure it will be hard on you, but your sis will pelased to have the moral support - especially from someone who understands a bit more about what is going on...

Went, as far aS they can now see baby is estimated at about 1.1 kilos so is a tiny bit smaller than it's supposed to be but not too bad, otherwise all well. thank god, was sitting in the waiting room and thought "last time i was here was my last icky scan..please don't let anything be wrong today"
am all ok, she's all good and baby is hopefully fine.

Well done Janine, that must be tough. Not only to have to go through a scan again but also to support your sister when, by all accounts, your situation was far better off than a baby being born to her - IYGWIM.
