Day time naps...??

Tom really needs to be wrapped too. He resists it and last night we didnt wrap his arms and he had his longest night sleep (go figure) but if he is over tired then the only way I can settle him is with tight swaddling and a dummy. A couple of sucks and you see his eyes roll back. That tells me he actually is tired (I always worry that he isnt tired and I am being a meany).

I have also tried staying in the room while he goes to sleep. I dont talk to him but I tidy up etc and he seems to drop off easier knowing I am near.

Sometimes I give in and let him sleep in my arms. I figure its ok every now and then. Someone pointed out that they will only fall asleep in your arms for such a short time that it is nice to cherish those moments.

With a baby you really do leanr that sometimes the day wont go to plan dont you?
