"A LITTLE MORE LIGHT
GROUPE F
FRANCE
The artistry of acclaimed French pyrotechnicians, Groupe F, is known throughout the world; they have lit up the Eiffel Tower, the Stade de France for the football World Cup, the Olympic Games in Athens and the 2004 and 2005 New Years Eve celebrations in London. Now, Auckland Festival, AK07 takes pleasure in introducing them to you.
Groupe F does more than put on fireworks: it devises spectacular fire events. A Little More Light (Un Peu Plus de Lumière) will create a breathtaking display of fire and light against the panorama and beauty of the Auckland Museum.
Be there early for The Mamaku Project’s eclectic fusion of jazz and Pacific dub, followed by awardwinning songwriter Don McGlashan and his band, The Seven Sisters, to warm up the crowd.
When night falls Groupe F will turn up the heat.
Grab your picnic hamper, blanket, family and friends and secure your spot for a spectacle that will live on in your memory for a long time to come.
In association with the AUCKLAND MUSEUM "
