Does anyone have the wording for the little saying that go with your childrens hand and foot prints. We want to do the boy's ones tomorrow with the little saying to give to my parents tomorrow.

This is the handprint poem I use...

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls
But everyday I grow a bit
And soon ill be so tall
That all those little fingerprints
Will be so hard to recall
So heres a special handprint
Just so you can say
This is how my fingers looked
When I placed them here today

oooh i have another one that i used when i did one for my sister with the girls hands on them... i did both hands and placed them either side, then did ayja's (which were heaps smaller) and put them either side above Paris's, then put a heart in the middle with the poem on it.

Ten tiny little fingers that always want to play,
That never stop exploring the wonder of today.
Ten tiny little fingers that from the very start,
Will reach out for tomorrow, yet always hold your heart.
Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

maybe not appropriate for grandparents but i did a poem for my husband with our first sons hand and foot..

it said:

To Daddy
Whose footsteps i will follow
And whose hand i will hold
On my journey through life.
Treasure how small they once were
And watch them grow.

Then i put his name and the date they were done.
