Josiah’s latest fear

Josiah and I went to pick up Kiya from school today. It's raining pretty hard at times today, so I grabbed an umbrella on our way out the door.

When we got to school, I got out of the car, put up the umbrella, then struggled to get Josiah to come to me! He was watching it really carefully, and once I had him on my hip he squealed! Josiah cried all the way from the car to Kiya's classroom, then grizzled all the way back to the car!

I guess he just doesn't like umbrellas! He even wasn't happy on the short trip from the garage to the house under the umbrella.

Oh thats no good. Hope he gets over his fear of umbrella's real soon.
Its so weird what kids can be scared of. I can't remember Blair being scared of anything but i remember Brianna was scared of any males that she's not sure about.

I used to be scared of hammers, but that's probably because I got knocked in the head with one (LONG story) when I was 6 and it almost took my eye out

Paris is scared of cats, and well, most animals really. she fluctuates between tormenting the hell out of out cat and being petrified of him - i think its cos when she used to toment him when she was little he would scratch.. now he just looks REALLY unimpressed.
A trip to the pet shop with her is like torture sometimes.. it takes a lot of coaxing and calming and then she's ok. when we go to mike's aunty's house - she has 2 big black fluffy fluffy cats and paris screams at them every time.
