Topic: do all DH/Ps have bad timing? Posted: 23 June 2007 at 10:54am |
grrrrr
I can't believe what bad timing (or great in his opinion) my DH has. Everytime without fail he misses the 2 kids having their screaming matches. He always walks into the house 10 mins after I have finally managed to settle everything down.
I really don't think he believes me when I tell him it has been a mare for the past hour or whatever.
Now this morning he is off at golf and I have one child strapped to my front and the other trying to climb on us for a cuddle. DH will walk in just as I have put DD into bed for her afternoon sleep and I bet you anything, DS would have settled down too
double grrrrr
right, vent over, sorry ladies, just had to get that off my chest

oh big hugs!!!
my DH walks in and wonders why i want to hand bubs off to him - or when he calls he says - You sound flustered
OMG now would that be cause i either ran to phone, or had bubs on boob and stretched for it or had bubs screaming while i was answering phone...hmmmm i wonder?

They have no idea! Daniel looks after Hannah when I work on the weekends but he never has tea cooked or housework done, so is totally different to a normal day for me. Luckily for me tho, he dos realise this (or maybe he just says it to keep me happy!).

So true, I txt Dh to tell him Andrew has not slept all day or has done something, and by the time he gets home Andrew is usually asleep.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I hate it when I am having a really hard time trying to feed Kaleb (usually because of trapped wind I can't get up) and DH walks in, takes over and Kaleb takes the bottle no problem!

I hate when the girls are grouchy and ratty all day and drive me up and down the walls, then Daddy walks in after work and all of a sudden all three are beaming smiles! Wenches!
