Pardon me? A "day off"? Can you kindly explain what one of these "days off" is?

I'm sure they wouldn't notice a little 10.5mth old tagging along *fingers and toes crossed*

I doubt my DH, my Dad or my FiL would ever consider such an idea! Especially last night when Caitlin was unwell (took 4 hours to get her to bed) and at 10.30 DH announces "I'm tired and have to work tomorrow, I'm going to bed"

WTF?!?!?!?!? I have to work too! *throws major tanty*

My FIL apparently used to take all seven of his kids out to give his partner a break...and all at the same time. and there were 2 sets of twins in there too. so hopefully a good lesson here for my hubby - esp after his needing a day to himself the other week...

Oh G&T make the most of it. Make sure you sit down and at least have a cuppa amoungst all the work that mentioned.

I say your FIL rocks. My outlaws and DP would never consider taking my boy for even 5 mins!
I took DS out for the day on Sunday and thought DP would have had him for 30 mins yesterday HUH yeah whatever!

ENJOY YOUR DAY!

You are so lucky. I would love a day off, even a evening off. Make the most of it.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
